Sun-bleached Beach

While painting this, I was struck by the contrast of the weathered wood against the beach and sea. I focused on the way light changes colors and shapes, making the familiar look new. It's a view I find peaceful and hope others might too, perhaps seeing something personal in the twists and turns of the driftwood.
